This may involve paint color recommendations, floor plan design, sourcing a furniture piece or two to finish out your room, bookshelf and accessory styling, or material selection advice. This package is for clients who want help designing and decorating their homes on a deeper level with the Oliver James aesthetic in mind. With our expertise and industry knowledge, we will provide you with a custom, thoughtful design and tools to bring your dream room(s) to life. Based in Boston, our online interior design consulting team offers services nationwide and is an excellent option for those who want a designer's eye but can invest the time and energy to execute the design plan themselves.

Full-Service Design
This package is for clients looking for premier interior design services in Boston and beyond. Oliver James Interiors incorporates a seamless and hands-on approach whether it be in the beginning construction phase or within an existing space. Our goal is to relieve you of the stress of building and designing your beautiful home, an investment for years to come. We bring the design that you envision to life while also handling all of the procurement, project management, and installation that comes with it.

Phase One
An initial phone call with your Boston-based Interior designer allows you to discuss your hopes and dreams for your home project and a chance to ask questions is key to a great working relationship. In addition, an Investment Guide will be sent to you with more package-specific details depending on the package that best fits your project needs. For a full-service design, a one hour design consultation will take place at your home for a flat fee in which you’ll receive a proposal with estimated design fees and an estimated budget to complete the scope of work prior to a contract being signed.
Phase Two
Once the LOA has been signed, our Boston-based interior design team gets to work with collecting measurements, studying your filled-out lifestyle questionnaire(s), and dreaming up a design concept and design board(s) with sourced products and custom fabrications. A design presentation is prepared and presented with material samples along with scaled 2D furniture and lighting plans and elevation drawings and 3D renderings, if deemed appropriate.
Phase Three
Once the client has approved the design, materials, and products in their entirety, Oliver James Interiors’ experienced interior design consultants here in Boston will begin purchasing, initiating custom fabrications, sourcing and coordinating tradespeople, handling freight, and receiving logistics all while wearing our design and project manager hats in the process. Besides getting a designer's eye and expertise, this is where hiring a designer and choosing a full-service package is especially valuable for many clients!
Phase Four
Installation Day: If your project is a blank slate we will typically schedule a day specifically for delivering all of your furnishings and decor at once. Oliver James Interiors plays your fairy godmother by transforming your home based on the design we specially curated for you. After installation, it's REVEAL DAY! This is our all-time favorite day. The day we have all been waiting for and why we love our job so much! You will get to see your investment hopes and dreams come to life. Now all that is left to do is make memories in your beautiful new space(s).
